General Information

ACL Repair Guidelines

Your pet has undergone a complete reconstruction of her left Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL). This was accomplished by grafting a portion of the patella tendon in place of the ACL, transposing the biceps femoris insertion, and implanting a nylon stay suture to support the knee while the graft is healing. It is imperative that your pet’s activity be severely limited during the healing process.

Disaster Preparedness

While the disaster itself may be unavoidable and the damages unpredictable, thinking about the unthinkable can save a life and give you reassurance in a scary situation.

Preparing for Surgery

Anesthesia and surgery can be a stressful time for you and your pet so we want to help prepare both of you for it.

Information on Parasites

A parasite is an organism that lives at the expense of another living being. In our pets, these usually take the form of intestinal worms (internal parasites) and fleas and ticks (external parasites).
